Tour Program

Day 1

Arrival in Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, relax and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 2

Cochin Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit the Navy Museum, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Jewish Synagogue, Marine Drive, Marine Walkway, and the Tripunithura Hill Palace. Experience the unique blend of colonial history and coastal charm.

Day 3

Cochin to Alleppey (60 km)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, known for its serene backwaters. On arrival, check into your traditional houseboat around 10:00 AM.

Begin your backwater cruise through the scenic Punnamada Lake, famous for hosting the annual Nehru Trophy Boat Race. The cruise continues through narrow canals such as SNDP Thodu, offering close views of village life. You may step ashore to walk through local villages and observe daily activities.

Lunch will be served onboard. After lunch, continue cruising through Munnattumugam, where three canals meet, creating a picturesque landscape. Sail past Kainakari village, surrounded by lush paddy fields, and view Chavara Church (optional visit). The journey continues through smaller canals like Irumbanam Thodu and the scenic C Block Canal, lined with green fields and coconut palms.

After approximately five hours of cruising, the houseboat returns to the jetty. Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner onboard.

Day 4

Alleppey to Cochin (60 km)

After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive back to Cochin. You will be transferred to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

The tour ends with beautiful memories of Kerala’s backwaters and heritage.
