Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, meet your driver and begin a scenic drive to Munnar, one of Kerala’s most beautiful hill stations. En route, you may visit the Kodanad Elephant Training Centre to watch elephants bathing and being cared for (subject to elephant presence and arrival timing).

Continue through lush green landscapes and stop at picturesque waterfalls such as Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Upon arrival in Munnar, check into your hotel and relax.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar, named after the confluence of three mountain streams — Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale.

Visit Mattupetty Dam & Lake, a popular picnic spot where you may enjoy boating and horse riding. Continue to the Indo-Swiss Dairy Farm, known for its high-quality cattle breeds, and then to Echo Point, famous for its natural echo effect and panoramic views.

Other attractions that can be explored (time permitting) include Pothanmedu Viewpoint, Devikulam, Eravikulam National Park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr), Top Station, and Marayoor.

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival, check in to your hotel and prepare for sightseeing.

Enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake near the Mullaperiyar Dam (approx. 2 hours). With a bit of luck, you may spot elephants, deer, wild boar, and various bird species along the lake shores.

Thekkady is also known for eco-adventure programs offered by the Forest Department, including Nature Walks, Bamboo Rafting, and the Periyar Tiger Trail (optional activities).

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, famous for its tranquil backwaters. Upon arrival, check into your traditional houseboat around 10:00 AM.

Begin your cruise through the scenic Punnamada Lake, known for hosting the annual Nehru Trophy Boat Race. The boat enters narrow canals such as SNDP Thodu, offering close-up views of village life. You may step ashore to walk through villages and experience local culture.

Lunch will be served onboard. After lunch, cruise towards Munnattumugam, where three canals meet, creating a picturesque setting. Continue through Kainakari village, surrounded by lush paddy fields, and view Chavara Church (optional visit). The cruise proceeds through smaller canals like Irumbanam Thodu and the scenic C Block Canal, lined with coconut palms and green fields.

After several hours of cruising, the houseboat anchors for the evening. Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner onboard.

After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive back to Cochin. You will be transferred to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
