A day tour is the right answer when you have one free day and a long list. No hotel change, no packing, no wasted morning. You leave early, see what you came for, and you are back the same evening.
Our day tours run from Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Some are three hours, some fill a full twelve-hour day. The Taj Mahal by car or by superfast train, Old Delhi on foot with food stops, a half day of Mughal monuments, a Pink City loop in Jaipur, or a tiger safari at Sariska. Every one is private, with your own car, driver and licensed local guide, and the route bends to your schedule rather than the other way round.
A day tour is a guided trip that starts and finishes on the same day, with no overnight stay. Ours run from three hours to a full twelve-hour day, depending on the destination. You are picked up from your hotel, airport or railway station and dropped back the same evening.
From Delhi you can do the Taj Mahal and Agra by car or by superfast train, a full eight-hour Old and New Delhi city tour, half day Old Delhi or New Delhi tours, an Old Delhi heritage walk with food tasting, a night food tour, a shopping tour, a slum walking tour, a one day Jaipur trip by car or train, and the Sariska Tiger Reserve safari.
From Jaipur we run a one day Taj Mahal and Agra tour by car, a full day Jaipur heritage and Pink City tour, and a one day Pushkar trip. Pushkar is about 145 km away, roughly three hours each way, which leaves a comfortable amount of time at the lake and the Brahma temple.
Yes, and it is our most booked day tour. Agra is about 230 km from Delhi, roughly three to three and a half hours on the Yamuna Expressway. A typical day leaves Delhi before sunrise, covers the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with a local guide, and gets you back to Delhi by evening.
Train is faster, car is more flexible. The superfast train covers Delhi to Agra in under two hours, so you spend less time travelling and more time at the monuments. A private car lets you leave when you want, stop where you want, and add Fatehpur Sikri or the elephant and bear rescue centre on the way back. Train seats sell out in peak season, so book early.
A private air-conditioned car with driver, a licensed English-speaking guide at the destination, monument entry tickets where the itinerary lists them, all tolls, parking and driver allowances, bottled water, and pickup and drop at your hotel, airport or station. Meals, camera permits and tips are not included unless confirmed in writing.
It depends on the distance. Agra and Jaipur trips usually start between 5.00 and 6.00 am so you beat the traffic out of the city and reach the monuments before the crowds. Delhi city tours start around 9.00 am. Food and night tours start in the evening. We confirm the exact pickup time the day before.
Every day tour is private. You get your own car, driver and guide, and no strangers join your group. Pace, stops and lunch timing are yours to decide.
The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday, so avoid Friday for any Agra tour. In Delhi, Red Fort, the Lotus Temple and Akshardham are closed on Monday, and most Chandni Chowk shops close on Sunday. Tell us your dates and we plan around these automatically.
Yes. If you have six hours or more between flights, we meet you at Indira Gandhi International Airport, run a guided loop of Old and New Delhi, and return you to the terminal with time to spare. Please check that your passport and visa allow you to leave the transit area.
Yes. Swap a monument, add a food stop, start later, finish earlier, or combine two half day tours into one full day. Tell us what you want to see and we rebuild the route around it at no extra planning cost.
