Day 1

Arrive in Delhi/NCR, where you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport. Start your guided tour of New Delhi with a visit to the Qutub Minar, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, explore the unique Lotus Temple that looks like flowers. Visit the Akshardham Temple to admire its detailed carvings and enjoy a peaceful boat ride about India’s cultural history. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, a grand Mughal mausoleum that inspired the Taj Mahal. Stop at Agrasen Ki Baoli, an ancient stepwell with spectacular architecture. End the day at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple known for its spiritual atmosphere. Spend the night in Delhi.

Day 2

Drive from Delhi to Agra and check-in to your hotel. Start your day by visiting the Agra Fort, a UNESCO site renowned for its amazing architecture. Then, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, often called the “Baby Taj” for its beautiful marble work. End the day at Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden with spectacular sunset views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. Spend the night in Agra.

Day 3

Begin your day by watching the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, a truly magical experience. After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, an old Mughal capital, and Chand Baori, an ancient stepwell known for its impressive design. Arrive in Jaipur, check into your hotel, and relax for the evening. Stay overnight in Jaipur.

Day 4

Spend the day exploring Jaipur. Start at the Amer Fort, where you can take an elephant ride up to the fort. Visit the City Palace, a beautiful blend of Mughal and Rajasthani styles, and see the Jantar Mantar observatory. Stop at the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of the Winds, and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the Monkey Temple. End your day by viewing the Jal Mahal from outside. Spend the night in Jaipur.

Day 5

Return to Delhi and proceed with your hotel check-in. In the afternoon, explore Old Delhi, starting first with the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Experience the vibrant energy of Chandni Chowk with a rickshaw ride through its bustling bazaar. See the Red Fort from outside and pass famous landmarks like India Gate, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Spend the night in Delhi.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Delhi airport to catch your flight to Cochin, a vibrant city on the southwest coast of India. Upon arrival at the Cochin airport, a driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel. After checking in, begin your sightseeing tour of Cochin. Your first stop is the Dutch Palace (also known as the Mattancherry Palace), a historic site displaying beautiful murals and artifacts from Kerala’s rich history. Next, visit the Jewish Synagogue, one of the oldest active synagogues in the Commonwealth, replete with antique chandeliers and hand-painted tiles. Next, visit the iconic Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi. These large, cantilevered fishing nets are a symbol of the city and provide a great photo opportunity, especially during sunset. Finally, visit the Santa Cruz Basilica, a stunning Catholic church known for its Gothic-style architecture and vibrant interior paintings. Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 7

After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Munnar, a hill station known for its lush tea plantations and cool climate. On the way, stop at Cheeyappara Falls, where water cascades down rocky steps, creating a beautiful scenic viewpoint. You can take a short break here to enjoy the refreshing scenery and take pictures. Continue your journey and make another stop at Karadipara View Point, where you can see panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys covered with tea plantations. It is a great place to capture some memorable pictures. On reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Spend the night in Munnar.

Day 8

After breakfast, set out on a full-day tour of Munnar. Start with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (a species of mountain goat) and offers breathtaking views of hills covered with tea plantations. You can take a guided walk in the park to see the unique flora and fauna of the region. Next, explore Munnar’s famous vast tea plantations. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and learn about the tea-making process at the local tea factory. Continue your tour with a visit to the Mattupetty Reservoir, a beautiful dam surrounded by lush greenery. It is a well-known destination for boating and picnicking. Then, visit Echo Point, where the natural resonance phenomenon lets you hear your own voice coming back from the surrounding hills. Visit the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history of tea cultivation in the region and see old tea-processing equipment. End your day at Kundala Dam, which is the perfect spot for a peaceful boat ride. Return back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 9

After breakfast, drive towards Thekkady, a region famous for its wildlife and spice plantations. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, start your sightseeing with a visit to the spice plantation, where you can see how various spices like cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon are grown. You will also get a chance to buy fresh spices directly from the source. Later, enjoy a thrilling boat ride on the Periyar Lake located within the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Keep an eye out for wildlife including elephants, deer, and various bird species as you travel on the calm waters. The boat ride offers a unique view of the lush forests and wildlife of the sanctuary. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 10

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, often called the “Venice of the East” due to its extensive network of canals and backwaters. Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat, known as a “Kettuvallam”. As you sail through the serene backwaters, you will pass lush paddy fields, coconut groves and quaint villages. The houseboat will also take you past small ancient churches and beautiful temples that dot the landscape. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal with local Kerala cuisine and relax while floating in this serene environment. Enjoy an overnight stay on the houseboat, immersed in the tranquil sounds of nature.

Day 11

After having breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to Cochin Airport. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore Cochin before departure. Then, board your flight to your next destination, and take with you wonderful memories of your Kerala trip.
