Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kochi
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and fresh coconut water. Later, visit Santa Cruz Basilica and Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace, closed on Fridays). In the evening, enjoy a scenic drive around Kochi Port, one of India’s finest natural harbors, where you can watch ships and boats moving along the waterfront. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Kochi to Munnar (Approx. 140 km / 5 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a beautiful hill station once favored as a summer retreat during British rule. The journey offers views of waterfalls, tea plantations, and misty valleys. Visit a tea plantation and the Tata Tea Museum (closed Mondays) to learn about tea processing. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the natural beauty of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park (closed February & March), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and enjoy views of Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India. In the evening, you may explore the local market. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar to Kumarakom (Approx. 170 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom, a serene backwater destination located on Vembanad Lake. Check into a backwater resort and relax. Later, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to observe migratory birds and natural wetland beauty. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings before returning to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 05: Kumarakom to Alleppey Houseboat Experience
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey to board a traditional Kerala houseboat (Kettuvallam). Cruise through tranquil backwaters lined with coconut palms and village life scenes. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala cuisine onboard and relax on the deck as the boat glides through scenic waterways. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 06: Alleppey to Kovalam (Approx. 160 km / 4 hours)
After breakfast on board, disembark and drive to Kovalam. Check into your beach resort and relax. Later, visit Kovalam Beach, known for its crescent shoreline and clear waters. Enjoy water activities or unwind with traditional Ayurvedic therapies and massages available at the resort. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 07: Kovalam & Trivandrum Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the most sacred Vishnu temples in India. Continue to Napier Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery, known for historic artifacts and classic Indian paintings. Later, excursion to Ponmudi hill station, famous for tea plantations, waterfalls, and scenic viewpoints. Return to Kovalam for overnight stay.
Day 08: Kovalam to Trivandrum Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum Airport (approximately 16 km). Depart with beautiful memories of your Kerala honeymoon.
